What honua.io collects—and what it doesn't.

You can browse honua.io and the public documentation without an account. We collect information you submit so we can respond, basic hosting logs needed to deliver and protect the site, and optional analytics only after you consent.
What we collect
- Contact and early-access submissions. The evaluation inquiry form collects name, work email, company, message, and consented attribution context. The Cloud early-access form requires work email; name and company are optional.
- Optional analytics. Page-view and site-interaction analytics load only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Session attribution. After analytics consent, the landing page, referrer, UTM campaign fields, and most recent CTA may be stored for the current browser session. Analytics does not read the name, email, company, or message fields.
- Basic server logs. Standard hosting and security logs may capture IP address, browser details, and request metadata.
- No account requirement. You can read the site and public docs without creating an account or providing personal data.

Cookies · analytics only loads after consent
The site shows a consent banner before Google Analytics loads. If you decline, the site remains functional and analytics cookies are not set. Your preference is stored in local browser storage; CTA and form attribution use session storage only after consent.

Retention & sharing
- Evaluation inquiries. Ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an active contract, security need, legal obligation, or deletion request requires a different period.
- Cloud early-access list. Retained until the service opens, the list is retired, or you ask to be removed; stale entries are reviewed at least annually.
- Processors. GitHub Pages hosts the site, FormSubmit handles form delivery, and Google Analytics processes analytics only after consent. Their infrastructure may process data outside your region under their applicable terms.
- No sale of personal data. Honua does not sell contact data collected through the site.
- Security logs and analytics. Retention is limited to the operational settings of the applicable hosting or analytics service and is reviewed as those services are configured.
Your choices
You can decline or reset analytics at any time. To request access, correction, deletion, early-access-list removal, or information about the current processors and retention settings, email info@honua.io. Honua may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it. Applicable legal rights vary by location.
